Couples & Multi-Partner Therapy on Bainbridge Island
Repairing Betrayal | Improving Communication | Reducing Conflict
Navigating Ethical Non-Monogamy
Are you and your partner(s) feeling stuck, disconnected, or struggling to navigate betrayal, communication breakdowns, or recurring conflict(s)? As a Bainbridge Island couples therapist, I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help couples and multi-partner families heal, grow, and connect more deeply. Whether you're recovering from infidelity, exploring ethical non-monogamy, or simply seeking deeper emotional intimacy, therapy can be a powerful step toward the lasting change you desire.
The focus of my work is on helping couples and multi-partner families facing the aftermath of infidelity or other betrayals, high-conflict communication patterns that leave you feeling unheard or misunderstood, emotional distance, resentment, building or rebuilding trust, and navigating together the unique dynamics of ethical non-monogamy and open relationships.
My integrative approach draws from several powerful therapeutic models including: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional bonds with yourself and with your partner(s), the Gottman Method for improving conflict management and relationship repair, Narrative Therapy to help you reshape the stories you tell about yourself/your relationship(s), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support emotional regulation and mindful communication.
Based right here on Bainbridge Island, I offer a welcoming, affirming space for partners of all backgrounds and relationship structures. My office features a discreet entrance and private lobby to support your comfort and confidentiality.
If you’re searching for couples or multi-partner counseling on Bainbridge Island, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. My goal is to help you and your partner(s) move from crisis to connection—whether that means repairing after a betrayal, deepening your emotional intimacy, or learning to navigate the complexities of consensual non-monogamy with honesty and care. Together, we can explore what healing and growth can look like for your unique relationship.
I have specialized experience working with LGBTQIA+ and Veteran populations. I am pleased to be a member in good standing of the International Centre For Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and both the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT). As an LMFTA, I participate in regular and ongoing supervision, provided to me by Andrea Anderson.
